Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is a public organisation funded by the government. TCEB acts as the focal point for MICE operators to promote Thailand as the destination of choice for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions, as well as the "Regional Business Hub" and Tourism Hub.



Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was established on March 18, 1960, the first organization in Thailand to be responsible specifically for the promotion of tourism. TAT supplies information and data on tourist areas to the public, publicizes Thailand so as to encourage Thai and international tourists to travel in Thailand, conducts studies to set development plans for tourist areas, and co-operates with and supports the production and development of personnel in the field of tourism.
Thailand Incentive & Convention Association (TICA) is a non-profit organization established in 1984 jointly by the government and the private sector. The function of TICA is to aid the growth of Thailand as a preferred destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions.

Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) is a private sector legal entity and an umbrella organisation that represents Thailand's key travel and tourism industry associations as well as regional associations and organisations.


Commenced on 1 July 1979 under the Ministry of Transport, Airports of Thailand (AOT) is privatised on 30 September 2002 with six main International Airports under its administration; Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Chiang Rai International Airports and Suvarnabhumi Airport. From our over 30 years experience in operating international airports, we are convinced that we can further enhance our service quality in order to impress all of our visitors. We also aim for Thailand to become the aviation hub of Southeast Asia, and provide the utmost satisfaction for our customers.

Bangkok Metropolitan Adminstration (BMA) is organized in accordance with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Act 1985, to be responsible for the management of the city of Bangkok. It is the sole organization at the local authority level responsible for the well-being of Bangkok residents with some financial support from the central government. The BMA comprises of two main bodies, the Governor and the BMA Council.

Official Airline

THAI Airways currently employs a fleet of 83 aircraft, serving 61 destinations in 34 countries. It operates a total of more than 950 flights weekly, using a modern fleet of aircraft including 747- 400, Boeing 777 and Airbus fleet. The latest super-long range performers, the Airbus A340, series 500 and 600 will join THAI Airways’ fleet within the next two years, enabling THAI Airways to launch 17 hours non-stop flights from Bangkok to such destinations as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. THAI Airways is one of the founding members of Star Alliance. THAI Aiways creates “Global Network” with flights covering more than 755 destinations in over 132 countries. This partnership enables THAI Airways to offer a range of benefits and seamless travel for its passengers.

Korea MICE Association, established as an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) in 2003 under the Tourism Promotion Act, is a government-run organization representing domestic MICE (meeting, incentive, conventions and exhibitions) industry shareholders including private companies, public agencies and academic bodies.

The World PCO Alliance was created to help associations organize effective meetings throughout the globe. Representing the front-runner PCOs in all six continents, this cohesive group aims to capitalize on the efficiency of consolidating conference and event services within one network. By sharing resources, knowledge, technology, training and best practices, the WPCOA is the associations’ one-stop solution for international meetings and conferences. All 21 members of the alliance are leaders in the association congresses industry in their respective countries and regions.
ROOTS is a platform for the international marketing of resources and services within the global meetings industry (M.I.C.E). It fills a gap online for sourcing these suppliers internationally, thus speeding up complex transnational procurement and contracting.

Endorsing And Supporting Associations
The Asian Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (AACVB) was formed in 1983 to create regional cooperation in developing Asia’s convention potential and to promote the region as an ideal convention destination. The founding CVB members included Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand. China and Macau joined in later years. In 2008, after a review of the organisation’s mission and strategic goals, the AACVB has entered an ambitious new era. Their vision is to be globally recognised for establishing Asia as a high quality region of choice in the international MICE marketplace.


Founded in 1973, euromic - events & destination management partnership, is a non-commercial association, created to market and promote its selected members to the meetings, conferences and incentive travel industry on a worldwide basis. Today, 42 years later, euromic is THE Association of leading Destination Management Companies. Each member company is a separately owned independent and experienced Destination Management Company which has proved its capacity to meet stringent qualifications. Recognised for its experience and expertise in meetings, incentives, conventions and high caliber special-interest programmes, euromic stands for quality, security, stability, sophistication and the highest standards of professional conduct, as well as success.



Established in 1968, International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) has over 90 members across 30 countries, and is the only international organisation devoted specifically to professional congress organisers (PCOs). Acknowledged as a world leader in congress training and education, IAPCO runs a series of national, regional and international seminars and workshops, including the acclaimed Annual “Wolfsberg” Seminar now in its 31st year. It publishes a series of industry guidelines including First Steps, How to Choose the Right PCO, Industry Prospectus, Bidding for a Congress, Safety and Security, etc, all of which, together with IAPCO’s newsletter “The PCO”, are available to non-members on request.


With over 900 member organisations and companies in 85 countries, International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) provides a worldwide network of meeting professionals, experts in all aspects of hosting and organising congresses and conventions. ICCA offers its members unique opportunities to access comprehensive meetings data, to exchange business leads and meet potential clients.


Founded in 1951, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is the recognised authority on Asia Pacific travel and tourism. PATA provides leadership and advocacy to the collective efforts of nearly 100 government, state and city tourism bodies, more than 55 airlines and cruise lines, and hundreds of travel industry companies. In addition, thousands of travel professionals belong to dozens of PATA chapters worldwide. PATA is a not-for-profit organisation.



The Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE) is the only membership organisation in the Philippines that serves the community of institutions and professionals that manage business, trade, philanthropic, scientific, medical, educational, technical, social welfare, agricultural and other non-profit organizations.

It was launched on 20 November 20, 2013 during the 1st Association Executives Summit jointly organized by the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board, the Philippine International Convention Center and the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP). With the Washington, D.C-based American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), these five institutions are PCAAE's "founding pillars". PCAAE aims to further professionalise the association goverance and management in the country.
